Refunds & Returns Policy — Mach1 Motorsport

1) Change-of-mind returns (30 days)

We accept returns of stocked, non-custom items within 30 days of delivery. To be eligible, the item must be unused, uninstalled, in original packaging with all accessories, and in the same condition you received it, with proof of purchase.

  • Start a return by emailing Sales@mach1.com.au for an RMA (Return Authorisation). Items sent back without prior approval may be refused. 

  • Unless the product is faulty or misdescribed, return shipping is at your cost. We can provide a return label and deduct the cost from your refund if you prefer.

2) Custom fabrications & made-to-order parts

Because we fabricate roll cages, manifolds, brackets and other components in-house to customer specifications, custom fabrications and made-to-order items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged unless required under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Examples include (non-exhaustive): roll cages and chassis work, custom turbo/exhaust manifolds, one-off brackets and mounts, and any parts cut, welded, machined, printed or otherwise modified to your specification.

3) Damaged, defective or incorrect items

Please inspect your order on delivery and contact us as soon as possible (ideally within 7 days) if an item is damaged, defective, or incorrect so we can evaluate and make it right. We’ll repair, replace or refund as appropriate in line with the ACL.

4) Exceptions (non-returnable items)

  • Custom fabrications / made-to-order items (see Section 2).

  • Gift cards and clearance/sale items (where marked final sale).

  • Items that have been installed, used, modified or damaged after delivery.

5) Exchanges

For the fastest turnaround, return the eligible item (once approved) and place a new order for the replacement part.

6) Refunds (timing & method)

We’ll notify you once we receive and inspect your return. If approved, we’ll process a refund to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to post the credit. If more than 15 business days pass after our approval and you haven’t seen the refund, please contact us at Sales@mach1.com.au

7) Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the ACL. You are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
